Stephen R. Walker is SR Walker Designs, an Atlanta based graphic design firm. He has worked closely with many of the civic organizations in Sandy Springs/Perimeter area over the last decade, developing consistent and effective graphics for Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber, The Sandy Springs Conservancy, Heritage Sandy Springs, The City of Sandy Springs, The Community Action Center, The Sandy Springs Society and Leadership Sandy Springs. Other non-profit organizations Stephen supports include Georgia Organics, Humane Society of Cobb County and The Ahimsa House. Stephen is the chair of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber Young Professionals initiative known as The 400 Club. He is a participant in his community, not just a resident and business owner. |

  The Sandy Spring Perimeter Chamber's Small Business Council recently honored us with the Keller Williams 2009 Community Service Award.
Heritage Sandy Springs Awarded Stephen with the 2008 Volunteer of the Year Award.
Stephen is a Graduate of the 2008 Leadership Sandy Springs class.
Stephen holds a seat on the Sandy Springs perimeter Chamber of Commerce's Marketing and Communications Committee.
Stephen also has a seat on the Community Action Center's Vintage Affair Steering Committee. |
Community Project:
 Wind Down Wednesdays is an early evening concert series designed to attract young professionals to Heritage Green, a beautifully terraced lawn and band shell located in the heart of Sandy Springs This after-work event features local bands, local breweries and wine shops, and great music, including some outrageous cover bands that are hot with the 30 something crowd. Heritage Green and Wind Down Wednesdays are produced by Heritage Sandy Springs, a 501c3 non-profit that funds and maintains the best gathering space in the heart of Sandy Springs.
April 15 and 29, May 13 and 27, 5:30 PM at Heritage Green. $5 gets you through the gate with a complimentary beverage ticket.

The 400 Club
 Stephen is the chair of the 400 Club in its inaugural year. The 400 Club is a Young Professionals organization under the umbrella of the Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce. If you are a young professional in the perimeter area, this is a great opportunity to network and socialize with others like you!
Young professionals are the future lifeblood and potential leadership that will fuel the Sandy Springs/Perimeter area. With the right programs and events young professionals will be attracted to an organization that cultivates business skills, provides a forum for socializing and networking, affords mentoring and fosters growth. 400 Club members will yield future board members for the SS/PC and our community. The 400 Club will be the seeds for tomorrow’s leadership.
